Hostbill Integration

Download & Install​

The hostbill module v1.0 currently offers the following features for Instance management lifecycle:

  • Creation
  • Suspension
  • Termination
  • Package upgrades - Will throw errors on downgrades if the storage size is lesser than current plan.

The module is opensource, can be downloaded from https://packages.hypervisor.io/hostbill-hypervisorv2.zip

Download the file, unzip it and move the contents to /home/hostbill/public_html/includes/modules/Hosting

Your module path should look like /home/hostbill/public_html/includes/modules/Hosting/hypervisorio/class.hypervisorio.php

App Connection​

App Connection

  • Hostname Your management server hostname here.
  • API Token This token can be generated by using the guide mentioned at Billing API Tokens
  • Secure This should always be ticked.

Product App Connection​

Product Connection

  • Plan Any plan from your management server.
  • Hypervisor Region/Group This plan will be deployed based on available hypervisors from this group.
  • Hypervisor The plan can be restricted to be deployed on this specific hypervisor if needed, from the Override Group to selected Hypervisor option

SSO Feature​

Our hostbill module, doesn't offer management functionality for clients within the hostbill billing system, as such we have added a Control Panel SSO widget that ships with this module to act as a direct login bridge to the management server.

The launch control panel button will allow your clients to directly login to the management server's client side for managing the instance.
